Excelso Wrap by Vera Marcu Pattern and Yarn
Excelso is a triangular wrap featuring a beautiful undulating lace stitch that resembles leaves. It is worked back and forth from one narrow end to the opposite wide end and bound off using the Icord bind-off method.
The pattern is written row by row, but if preferred, a chart written version is available.
Materials: 2 skeins Great Southern Yarn Australian SRS Merino (non-mulesed) 4 ply (fingering weight) - 100% merino (340 metres/372 yards per 100 grams). Pictured in Cressida Campbell.
Needles: 100 cm (40”) circular needles, 3.25mm (US 3) or size needed to obtain gauge.
Finished dimensions: 146 cm/57.5” wide along longest edge and 86 cm/34” tall at the point.
