What to expect:
During this workshop, we will cover:
- basic safety for dyeing yarn,
- set up of pans for yarn dyeing, and
- assistance with colour choices. Students are encouraged to bring “inspiration” pictures.
What’s included:
All tuition, equipment and materials are included to ensure you have everything you need to get the most out of this workshop. You will dye and take home:
- you will leave with 3x skeins yarn,
- worksheets covering the basics of yarn dyeing safety for future use,
- Refreshments throughout the day and lunch. Dietary requirements must be advised at the time of booking.
What to bring:
- Closed toe flat shoes
- No billowy sleeves
- Hair tie
- Notebook and pencil / pen
- Water Bottle
NOTE: There will be opportunity to plan and purchase project quantities of fibre.
Note: Dying is a messy activity. We will provide appropriate protective wear including aprons, gloves, etc but there is still a likelihood that you may get dye on your hands or clothing. It is suggested to wear dark clothing that you are happy to get dye on it.

By booking this Workshop you are guaranteed a spot.
If you need to cancel your spot on or before 11th October, you will receive a refund minus merchant fees of $20.
If you need to cancel your spot on or before 18th October, you will be offered a 50% refund. If the event is full and we are able to fill your spot, you will receive the refund minus merchant fee of $20.
If you need to cancel your spot on or before 25th October, you will be offered a 25% refund. If the event is full and we are able to fill your spot, you will receive the refund minus merchant fee of $20.
If you need to cancel your spot on or after the 25th October, you will forfeit your full payment for the event. If the event is full and we are able to fill your spot, you will receive the refund minus merchant fee of $20.
Full payment is required prior to the start of the workshop to confirm your spot.
You will be notified three days prior of the workshop date if it has been cancelled or changed. We cannot be held liable for travel or any other costs in the event of a cancellation.
If your workshop is postponed or cancelled, you can use the amount paid for the workshop to purchase another event/activity, use as store credit, or be issued a full refund.
